Only Once

I’m going to keep this one quick, because you’re probably trying to figure out how to make 2022 work for you.  You may be returning to your physical workplace, revisiting old hobbies out in the world, testing out new healthy lifestyles… really, whatever melts your butter and makes you feel like you’re living your best life.

YOUR best life.

Not the media’s version of you, or Peloton’s, or HelloFresh or anyone else trying to upsell you on “New You in 2022.”  Yes, resolutions and goal-setting can be helpful as you look ahead to this new year, but I invite you to remember:

You’re fantastic.

Really.

Who you are, what you bring to the world… is so important.

Are you working on some stuff?  Cool, keep at it.

Want to try something different?  That’s rad; try, learn, grow.

Be curious about new experiences to amplify your soul.

You may feel influenced to become someone else right now.  And if that feels inauthentic (and you know how much that word makes me feel spitty-mouthed), take a moment and reflect on why.

Long after the New Year’s Eve hangover ends, you’ll be living your life through your routines and dreams.  YOUR best life is unique to the fantastic, weird being that you are.  I’m here to celebrate that with you.

Happy New Year.
