Workshops & Speaking

Kari's a fearless public speaker and a multi-partial facilitator.

You'll leave Kari's custom engagements feeling energized, focused and ready to take action.

Your gathering, with a side of Glitterbomb

“Uproar Coaching was the best decision we could have made to facilitate our retreat. The group came in feeling uncertain and divided and left with a feeling of empowerment and new sense of community. We would not have been able to evoke such a change in attitude without Kari's skilled and professional tactics.”

Katherine M. Performance Management Program Lead

Thank you so much for your wonderful facilitation of our session.  You have a way of navigating so many personalities and content.  I appreciated our time so much!

Aimee R., COO, E&I Operations

Workshops you’ll love

From half-day team-builders to multi-day retreats, Kari’s workshops are anything but boring.

Here’s how it works:

  • We begin with a 30 minute discovery call, to learn a little more about what’s bringing your group together, what your outcomes are, and what the timeline is

  • From there, Kari will propose an agenda with individual, small group, and/or large group activities and discussions that meet your needs, exceed your goals, and make this gathering something you won’t forget

  • You’ll receive the agenda, and we’ll again connect to confirm it hits your “wants”. We’ll talk logistics, and then I’ll get working

  • I’ll see you day-of, either online or in-person

Previous workshop offerings include:

  • Team foundations, including creating Mission, Vision and Values Statements; coming together as a newly combined team post-organizational change; team working norms

  • DISC Assessment and team communication

  • Strategic visioning and strategic planning

  • Lessons Learned and actionable improvement plans

  • Workplace culture

  • Human-centered design sprint

  • Exercising your public speaking muscle

  • Executive Leadership (owning your presence, establishing yourself in the role)

  • and more!

“The team retreat was excellent! Kari was very engaging, fun, thoughtful throughout the whole process!  We probably will want to tap her expertise again as we think about ways we do a review and update of our goals and objectives. The team really enjoyed the two sessions and we are now actually working on revising the goals and objectives that Kari helped us develop and we are continuing the conversations that we started.”

What audiences say

  • "Kari made the session fun, proposing alternative solutions to our most challenging problems, and attentively listening and engaging with my Team (even when we went on a little bit of a tangent). I enjoyed the fact that Kari was able to "meet us where we were at". By the end of the workshop, several members of the Team had shared their positive feedback about the workshop--including that they wished that Kari could have participated in our entire Team retreat!"

Natasha W., Senior Advisor and Director

  • “I want to start with how impressed the team was with the session. We're still pretty pumped about the session and have new ways to work together instead of operating in silos which is great to see! I am also super appreciative of the content you put together and the time you spend with us. It was truly what I hoped for and more than I expected. This session really allowed us to be open with each other and truly hear our different perspectives on goals for the team. It was great!”

Johanne A-R, Director of Operations & Strategic Initiatives

  • “Thank you for an exceptional talk today. I loved the topic, use of chat, and breakout rooms. The exercise helped to put your topic into practice – perfect!! We look forward to hosting you again!”

    Val R., Business Architect

  • “Your ‘Into The Funknown’ talk was awesome! I’ve been hosting watch parties for the global conference with peers around the office, and you were our favorite. Engaging, honest, actually helpful, and fun!”

Christina R., Assistant Director of Enterprise Change Management
