When it comes to leadership, conventional wisdom says that you need specific traits and experiences to succeed (this is the male/pale/stale leadership I soapbox against).  

[Quick reminder: when I talk about leadership, I don’t only mean “leading an organization or a team.”  I mean leading your life.  Leading your community from within.]
